Location

The location of PALLAS is important and has regional, national and international political dimensions. There are two equivalent possibilities:

The province of Noord-Holland
In Noord-Holland, PALLAS would be built in the immediate vicinity of the existing nuclear infrastructure on the current location of the High Flux Reactor in Petten. The construction of PALLAS guarantees the enforcement of the existing nuclear infrastructure.

The province of Zeeland
In Zeeland, PALLAS wouldl be realised in the immediate vicinity of the existing nuclear power plant in Borssele and the nuclear waste storage facility COVRA. Especially when a second nuclear power plant is built in Borssele, a large-scale nuclear infrastructure will arise in Zeeland.
