Project structure

Besides the subdivision into time phases (see planning), the project consists of three sub-projects:

• Nuclear island: design and realisation of the nuclear systems, the nuclear-related systems, the building-related systems and the reactor building.
• Off-plot scope: design and realisation of the other mostly infrastructural works necessary for PALLAS’ safe and optimal operation, such as the cooling water supply, the office building and the utilities connections.
• Licensing: obtaining the necessary licences and permits.

All sub-projects will go through the five project phases, and the entire project is managed by the PALLAS-project team.
